Controltech Rage OS Review
The Rage OS chainset from Controltech comes with BB30 as standard. This means the weight is considerably reduced thanks to the removal of the BB cups from the outer bearing system.
The larger bearings are also stronger and more durable, leading to a longer lifespan, while also increasing stiffness. Finally the BB30 also provides greater ankle clearance and improves the performance in power transfer.
The 10 speed compatible Rage OS chainset comes with AL7075 chainrings in sizes 44/32/22 and an AL6066 arm that is available in either 170mm or 175mm lengths. The arm comes in either an SB black or HP silver finish, while the chainset weighs in at a total of 1020g.
